MARICA & JAKE
I have been so lucky to have some seriously amazing friends in my life.
When I got the invite for Jake & Marica's wedding, I was in Spain. I basically did a little celebration dance because I knew that I would be back in the U.S. for their wedding day. And then shortly before getting back to the States, and shortly before Jake & Marica's wedding, Brinn (Almira B. Photography) said hey, wanna second shoot this thing with me, and i was like duh, yes absolutely.
Marica and Jake are so insanely in love and to be able to experience the celebration of their love was such a tender moment. I remember when Marica (who I met through photography and who does awesome work so check out her stuff at Rivers and Roads Photography) told me about her first date with Jake. Marica, Brinn, and I were at a Mexican restaurant (zero surprise there) and I remember feeling super happy for her, but I had no idea that just a few years later, Brinn and I would be photographing their wedding. Okay, I probably did know that just because Marica was so insanely excited about this guy. Jake is the kindest, most tender-hearted soul and Marica is hysterically funny and has the most infectious laugh. They are both super talented, hard-working, and taco-loving people- the most perfect pair- and I'm grateful to know them. Now look at these crazy kids in love.
